Kids Church is Church for kids! We teach children the Bible in a way that they will understand, using games, songs, memory verses and craft. Your child will be fully supervised at all times in a group that caters for their age. Kids Church runs during the 11am service. All Kids Church teachers and creche helpers have current Working with Children Checks and safe ministry training. You will drop your children off at the hall as you arrive for church, and pick them up from there at the end.
Preschool-Kindergarten: Little Lambs
For boys and girls from older pre-school to Kindergarten. Even though they are so small, they learn from the Bible, with simple stories, games, songs and craft. They meet in one of the preschool rooms next to the playground.
Years 1-3: Kids of the Kingdom
Structured lessons include games, activities, craft and lessons. They meet in one of the preschool rooms next to the playground.
Years 3-5: JAM (Jesus and Me)
They start with games and activities, and are taught from the Bible using a curriculum that engages this age group. They meet at the tables outside.
Years 6-7: Code Blue
They start with games and activities, often together with JAM, then split off for their own Bible lessons and activities to challenge the older kids. They meet in the house next to the carpark.
Crèche and Babies
Children 3 years and under are looked after in the room with the glass doors at the back of church. Leave your children with confidence knowing our carers are well-equipped to look after your child. Once you leave your child, please do not return for them until the service ends – this will minimise disruption and help children to better settle. If your child is very upset, then one of the carers will come to get you.
This room with glass doors at the back of church has comfortable lounges and nappy changing facilities – you are welcome to take your baby here if they become unsettled during the service. Older babies who are settled can be left here in Crèche.
